These Terms and Conditions are applicable every time you visit the website and/or place an order for merchandise from our website. Before using this site you should read and accept these Terms and Conditions.
1. Order Acceptance
Acceptance of your order will be deemed to have occurred on allocation of stock by Lexer Music. In particular, we may not accept your order if a product you have ordered is out of stock, we have identified a product description or pricing error, or we have not been able to authorize your payment. Although unlikely, we may also refuse your order for any other reason at our discretion. If you have any questions regarding an order then we can be emailed at support@lexermusic.com
2. Payment
By submitting an order through our website you attest that the payment details provided are valid and correct and that, when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full. We will not dispatch an order until the payment you make to us has cleared.
3. Pricing
All prices shown on the website may change from time to time. UK VAT is included in all prices displayed. Everyone pays the same price, we simply 'absorb' any VAT charges that we have to hand over to the Inland Revenue for orders within the UK. Any customs, import vat, import duties or other charges levied once the package reaches your chosen destination country will be your responsibility as we have no visibility nor control over these charges. We do not refund these charges under any circumstances.

4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, which consist of postage only, are based on weight and territory. We aim for these to reflect the standard costs charged by Royal Mail or Courier (including VAT where appropriate) plus packaging, however we do not provide a refund, nor require any additional payment, based on any variation. Items that cannot be combined into one package may be split, we will cover any additional postage cost in this instance.
5. Product Specification
We have taken every care to ensure that the descriptions and specifications of our merchandise is correct at the time of publishing. We cannot guarantee that the product images you see on your PC are a totally accurate representation of the merchandise.
6. Stock Availability
All items are subject to availability. Due to inventory discrepancies or multiple orders being placed for the final item at the same time, it is possible for an order to be placed for an item that is in fact sold out. Should any item you order be out of stock we will contact you at the e-mail address you provided when ordering. If we don't receive a response to our e-mail we will process the remaining items on your order and refund the balance.
7. Order Cancellation
If you need to amend or cancel an order then we should be contacted as soon as possible.
If your order has already been dispatched then you will still be able to return the merchandise within 7 days for a product refund in line with your statutory rights. All refunds will be credited in the original form of payment. We recommend that you return your goods by recorded delivery as we will only refund on receipt of the originally dispatched merchandise.
If your order is a pre-order or has not been despatched then there is a £5 order cancellation charge which will be subtracted from the refund amount. This is to cover card or paypal fees which are not refunded to us. This will only be waived in special circumstances at our discretion.
Note that if your order is personalised then a cancellation is not possible once the product manufacture process has begun. Also, if your order includes a download that is immediately available after placing the order then cancellation is not possible.
8. Returns
In the unlikely event that any merchandise delivered is damaged or incorrect merchandise is delivered, return postal charges will be refunded by Lexer Music. In this instance, merchandise should be returned to Lexer Music by Barcoded Delivery within 14 days of receipt for a full replacement (or refund if a particular item is no longer in stock). However always contact us in the first instance.
9. Internet Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else and/or is likely to be used in an unauthorized manner. Although we use advanced security measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and alteration, we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of your information provided over the Internet. Use of this site is entirely at your own risk.
10. Privacy Policy
Any data captured by Lexer Music will be used only for its intended purpose. All such personal information that is retained by us will not be sold or otherwise transferred to third parties unless required by law or by court/governmental order to disclose such information in a particular circumstance.
Under the General Date Protection Requirement you can ask us at any time to delete your account and we will respond to this within 30 days. Your transactional order records will remain for 6 years though as these are required for Inland Revenue audit purposes. You can also see any data we hold on you via your account by logging in with your userid and password and viewing your order details. If you do not have an account (or it has been deleted) then you can request details of previous order transactions which we will provide within 30 days.
We do not hold any debit or credit card details in regards to any order placed, we always hand over payment processing for an order to PayPal for processing.
Apart from us contacting you in respect of an order placed, consent to receive newsletters or other promotional item is based on specific subscription to our service through your account or homepage. You can unsubscribe from such newsletter and other promotional material at any time by contacting us or clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each newsletter.
11. Cookies
Lexer Music uses cookies required for the essential running of the shop and those from third party sites such as Facebook and Google. Use of this site is conditional upon acceptance of the use of these cookies.
